QUARTETTO ELISA

string quartet

Duccio Beluffi, 1st vl.
Gabriele Bellu, 2nd vl.
Leonardo Bartali, viola
Giovanni Lippi, cello

The Elisa Quartet was formed in Florence, after studying with Franco Rossi (cellist of the reknown Quartetto Italiano).
Frequent and deep interactions with Salvatore Accardo, the Borodin Quartet, Rudolph Barshai and Norbert Brainin (first violin of the Amadeus Quartet), were also crucial for the group's growth.

Winner of several contests at home and abroad, the Elisa Quartet is in constant demand of the most important chamber music associations worldwide.
