Victor Pellegrini was born in Rosario, Argentina, into a family of italian origin.

After studying with Juan Carlos Kemp and Inés Panero, he went on to win a number of international competitions: 1979, International Competition "Alirio Diaz" of Caracas (1st prize); 1980, International Competition "Andrés Segovia" of Palma de Majorca (3rd. prize); 1982, International Competition of Havana (1st. prize).

Since then he has performed as a soloist in every continent of the world collaborating with many orchestras.

For ten years he has held the chair of guitar at the University of Havana, Cuba; at the present he lives in Mexico teaching at the Conservatory of Morelia, Michoacàn.
